Nine people were killed in an explosion in Nagpur

In an explosion at Nagpur, nine people including six women and three men were killed. The incident happened on Sunday when there was a big explosion in the Solar Explosive Company in Bazargaon village of Nagpur. According to media reports, the explosion occurred during packing in the cast booster plant of Solar Explosive Company.

The company, run by famous entrepreneur Satyanarayan Nuwal, has a large unit spread over about two thousand acres in Bazargaon. According to media reports, 9 out of 12 workers working at the company's CBH 2 unit located in Bazargaon died on Sunday and the CBH 2 plant building was destroyed. Former state home minister and current MLA Anil Deshmukh reached at spot to check the situation.

Earlier in August, a fire broke out during the disposal of waste materials by the Economic Explosives Company. At that time, one of the two employees who were disposing of this waste died, while the other was seriously injured. Not even five months had passed since that incident when this big explosion took place on Sunday.
