Telangana Crime: Man Kills Wife, Daughter, and Sister-in-law in Vikarabad Before Ending His Life

Vikarabad Murder Case Update: A tragic incident unfolded in Telangana’s Vikarabad district, where a man allegedly murdered three members of his family before taking his own life. The shocking event took place in Kulkacherla village on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

According to police, Vepuri Yadaiah (38) attacked his wife Aluvelu (32), daughter Aparna (13), and sister-in-law Hanumamma (40) with an axe while they were asleep. His elder daughter Apoorva (16) sustained head and hand injuries while trying to escape.

After committing the murders, Yadaiah allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself inside the house.

Upon receiving information, Kulkacherla Police reached the spot, sent the bodies for post-mortem, and began an investigation.

Domestic Dispute Behind the Tragedy

Preliminary investigation suggests that domestic conflict was the main reason behind the incident. Police revealed that Yadaiah and his wife had been arguing frequently over personal issues during the past week.

Local elders and family members had recently intervened to help the couple reconcile. On Saturday evening, after yet another argument, Yadaiah reportedly became angry when relatives and villagers admonished him for his behavior.

His sister-in-law had come to the house to take her sister and nieces home the next day. However, late at night, Yadaiah launched the fatal attack with an axe. Apoorva, the surviving daughter, told police that her father first attacked her aunt and then her mother when she tried to intervene.

He later turned towards his daughters, killing Aparna instantly. Apoorva managed to flee despite her injuries and alerted neighbors.

Police Investigation Underway

The case has been registered at Kulkacherla Police Station, and further investigation is in progress. The police are also recording statements from the surviving family members and neighbors to establish the exact sequence of events.
