New Delhi: After Sushma Swaraj's warning to Amazon officials of not granting Indian Visa, Amazon Canada on Thursday withdrawn Indian flag themed doormats from its site.
“Doormats are no longer on sale at the online marketplace,” said Amazon official.
External Affairs minister Swaraj on Thursday slammed Amazon, demanding an unconditional apology.
What Swaraj had said in the two consecutive tweets:
- Amazon must tender unconditional apology. They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately
- If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier
