One killed, 4 injured in terrorist attack on Air Force convoy in Poonch

An Indian Air Force Jawan was killed and four others injured in a terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. According to the police sources the terrorists opened fire on a vehicle of security forces on Saturday evening.

Officials said that Army and police personnel have been sent to the affected area.

The security forces official said that the local Rashtriya Rifles unit has started a cordon and search operation in the area. The vehicles have been secured inside the air base in the general area near Shahsitaar.
