New Delhi: The number of corona virus cases in India has increased to more than 10 million, of which 11,649 new infections have been reported during the last 24 hours. This is the ninth time in the month when the annual death toll of the virus has been recorded below 100. At the same time, a total of 82 lakh 85 thousand 295 people have been vaccinated with the Corona virus.

90 people died due to Corona on Sunday:

According to data released by the Ministry of Health, 90 people died due to the pandemic on Sunday. The total number of deaths from corona in the country has increased to 1 lakh 55 thousand 732. The total number of active cases in the country is now 1,39,637 and the total number of discharged cases has gone up to 1,06,21,220, which is 97.29 percent.

Total Vaccination till date is 82,85,295.

Corona Updates in India:

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 20,67,16,634 samples have been tested for corona virus as of 14 February. Of these, 4,86,122 samples were tested on Sunday.

On 7 August 2020, the number of infected people in India increased to 20 lakhs, on 23 August to 30 lakhs and on 5 September to more than 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and one crore on 19 December 2020.
