ISRO launches sixth navigation satellite IRNSS-1F

Chennai: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the sixth navigation satellite from Sriharikota space centre at about 110 km from district headquarters.

Satellite IRNSS- 1F was launched at about 1601 hours and was delayed by a minute.

“Successful launch of IRNSS-1F is an accomplishment we all take immense pride in. I salute the hardwork of our scientists and ISRO,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted.
