T20 World Cup 2024: South Africa creates history, final for first time, Afghanistan wins hearts

The South African team has created history in Trinidad. The South African team has managed to reach the final of the T20 World Cup for the first time by defeating Afghanistan by 9 wickets. In Trinidad, the African team got a target of 57 runs to win. Which the Proteas easily achieved in 8.5 overs at the loss of just 1 wicket. Opening the innings for the team, Reeza Hendricks played the highest innings of 29 runs with the help of 3 fours and 1 six in 25 balls. Apart from him, Captain Aiden Markram, batting at the third position, played an unbeaten innings of 23 runs with the help of 4 fours in 21 balls. Apart from these two batsmen, Quinton de Kock scored 5 runs with the help of 1 four in 8 balls.

The Afghanistan team has definitely faced defeat against South Africa. But the Afghan players deserve all the praise. In today's match also, they gave a tough time to the opposition team to score 57 runs. They had an excellent performance in the tournament.
