Team India stuck in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl, curfew like situation in city

But, due to extremely bad weather, this was not possible. It is being told that Hurricane Beryl can take effect in the city of Barbados by tonight, in such a situation the airport there may have to be closed for a day. It is expected that Team India will be able to fly directly from Barbados to Delhi only after the weather improves by Tuesday morning. For this, BCCI is preparing to send a chartered plane.

Curfew like situation prevails in the city of Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. According to a report, BCCI is keeping an eye on the weather in Barbados. As soon as the weather improves, Team India will be brought directly from Barbados to Delhi. It is expected that the Indian team and staff can reach Delhi by July 3 where a victory procession of Team India can be taken out from the airport.

According to the report, Hurricane Beryl will soon hit Barbados. Due to which there can be a terrible landfall. At present, flights are being canceled from Barbados airport. It can be closed for a day after the storm. Team India will have to stay in Barbados only after the airport starts functioning after the storm subsides.

Team India ended the 11-year ICC title drought by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Bridgetown Barbados ground on June 29.
