Kashmir: Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, during his meeting with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday, said that the issue of Kashmir needs a political solution. Singh also held a meeting with the members of the civil society in an effort to find a way out of the latest round of violence in Kashmir.

Home Minister reached Srinagar on Saturday noon. He was accompanied by a team of senior Home Ministry officials and the DGs of central paramilitary forces. He also met Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and discussed the Kashmir issue.
