Centre’s Diwali gift: 2 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance of Employees

New Delhi: The government on Thursday announced two percent hike in Dearness Allowance for central government employees and dearness relief of same percentage for pensioners. The finance minister Arun Jaitley announced after the cabinet meeting that the changes will be implemented with effect from July 2016.
