Keeping this in mind, Google Map has introduced a very special feature for the convenience of its users. With the help of which it will be known how many corona patients are in your area.
New feature in Google Map 'COVID LAYER':
This feature is named 'COVID layer'. This feature will be present on both Android and iOS platforms. In this, not only will you be able to get information about corona infections, but you can also get every update related to corona virus.

Google Map has shared information about the 'COVID layer' feature from its official Twitter account. The tweet states that a new layer feature has been added to Maps. Its job will be to provide updates related to the number of new Covid 19 cases and patients coming to your area.
The company has also stated that this feature is present on both Android and iOS platforms. This feature can be rolled out from this week.
It is being told that there will also be an option of layer button in Google Map, which will be located on the right side of the screen. After clicking on this button, you will see the button of COVID-19 info.
After clicking on this feature, this map will change according to the position of covid. It will show an average of seven new cases per 100,000 people in the area, and will also show whether corona cases in the area are increasing or decreasing.
Not only this, trending map data will show the country level of all 220 countries and regions that support Google Map. This data facility will be available at the state, province, county and city level.
Google is also going to bring color coding feature for its consumers soon. Which will help users to determine the density of new cases in a region.
