Amidst the Corona crisis, there is fierce opposition from all over the country for conducting the JEE and NEET mains examinations. Despite this, preparations are going on for the JEE-NEET exam and the matter of getting it done within the prescribed limit is coming out.

In this series, the Union Ministry of Education has also released the list of state-wise centers for the examination. According to the list, 660 centers have been created for the JEE examination, while 3843 examination centers have been made for NEET examination.

Examination Centre list declared:

The Union Education Ministry has released the list of exam center in JEE and NEET examinations amid protests. This year the number of examination centers has been increased keeping in mind the social distancing. Earlier 570 centers were scheduled for JEE examination but now their number was increased to 660. Its Aavla NEET examination centers have been increased from 2846 to 3843.

JEE Exam in September:

The JEE exam is scheduled between 1 to 6 September and the NEET exam will be conducted on 13 September. This time around the corona crisis, a little reshuffle has been made in the examination.

According to the notification of the Ministry of Education, this year the number of shifts for the JEE Main examination has been increased. Earlier, JEE exam was supposed to be in 8 shifts but now it will be in 12 shifts. In addition, the number of candidates per shift was also reduced. 1.32 lakh shift candidates have been reduced to 85000.

The Ministry has issued the admit card for the JEE Main Examination. On the other hand, the admit card for NEET exam is also likely to be released this week. It is being claimed that about 90 percent of the candidates have been given their chosen exam center.
