Many states of the country are destroyed by rain and floods. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department once again issued a rain alert. There is less pressure in the Bay of Bengal which has moved forward.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert about this. The Meteorological Department has indicated heavy rains during the next four-five days in North, Eastern and Central India.

Heavy Rain in next one week:

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert on 26 August in Odisha and 27 August in Chhattisgarh. According to the department, there may be torrential rains in these states. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rainfall in many areas of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area (storm) has formed over the Bay of North Bengal and its adjoining areas. The department has expected it to move in the west-northwest direction in the next four-five days.

Due to this low pressure, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha, Bengal's Gangetic areas and various regions of Jharkhand till August 28.

Rain in Central India:

Several areas of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and western Rajasthan are also expected to receive heavy rains between August 26-28. Apart from this, heavy to heavy rains may occur in some areas of Odisha on 25-26 and Chhattisgarh on 27 August. According to Sati Devi, head of the National Weather Forecast Center, there will be widespread heavy rains in north, central and eastern India.

With this, heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and some areas of Jharkhand. Several areas of Uttar Pradesh, National Capital Delhi, Bengal, Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are likely to receive rain on Wednesday.
