IndiGo rolls back pay cut in salary of employees during Lockdown

The complete lockdown has been implemented in the country till May3. After the announcement of lockdown all public transports, railways and air ways were also closed by the authorities.

New Delhi: The complete lockdown has been implemented in the country till May3. After the announcement of lockdown all public transports, railways and air ways were also closed by the authorities. After this there was so many confusion related to the salaries of employees working in these trades. Now, a good news is coming out for employees working at airline company IndiGo.

The company withdrew its decision in which the company had asked for a cut in the salary of its employees. On behalf of the CEO of the company, it was said that now they will not do any cuts in their salary salary. This is a relief news for Indigo employees during this crisis of Corona.

IndiGo, one of the leading airline companies in India, took a big decision in the interest of its employees and overturned its own decision that had asked for staff cuts. On behalf of the company, the CEO of Indigo said that they will not cut any salary of their employees. Ronjoy Dutta withdrew the pay cut announced in April.

"Right now, we have little control over our revenues and a lot of control over our costs and therefore that is where we are focusing all our energies," Dutta said in his mail to employees on Thursday.
