Residents of Greater Noida and nearby areas just got a major healthcare boost. A new super speciality hospital has been opened in Dadri after inauguration by Yogi Adityanath. The hospital, called KDSG Super Speciality Hospital, will offer advanced treatment in cardiology, oncology and neurology. Built at a cost of about ₹200 crore, the facility is expected to improve healthcare access for thousands of people living in the NCR region.
A Major Healthcare Addition For Greater Noida
The new hospital has been built with modern infrastructure and advanced medical equipment. It has around 300 beds and several specialised departments. Patients will now be able to access complex treatment without travelling far to metro cities.
For people living in Dadri, Greater Noida and nearby towns, this is quite important. Earlier many families had to go to Delhi or other big hospitals for serious treatment. Now many of those services will be available closer to home.
During the event, former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev and Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma were also present. The gathering focused mostly on improving healthcare and making advanced treatment accessible to ordinary citizens.
Yogi Adityanath’s Message To Doctors
While speaking at the inauguration, Yogi Adityanath shared an interesting example from cricket. He mentioned that when Kapil Dev came to bowl during matches against Pakistan, the opposing team often felt pressure even before the ball was delivered.
The Chief Minister explained that doctors should carry a similar kind of confidence while treating patients. According to him, when patients see a confident doctor, half the illness already feels smaller. Confidence and behaviour of doctors plays a big role in recovery.
He also added something quite simple but meaningful. Medicine and prayers together, he said, sometimes help patients heal faster.
Ayushman Bharat Scheme Helping Millions
The Chief Minister also spoke about the impact of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, launched by Narendra Modi. The scheme today supports nearly 60 crore people across India.
In Uttar Pradesh alone, more than five crore Golden Cards have already been issued. These cards allow eligible families to receive free treatment up to ₹5 lakh in hospitals under the scheme.
Programs like this have made healthcare more reachable for poor and middle income families. Still, expanding hospitals and facilities remains important.
Healthcare Expansion Across Uttar Pradesh
Yogi Adityanath also highlighted how healthcare infrastructure has grown over the last few years. Before 2014, India had only six operational AIIMS institutions. Today, that number has grown to 23.
Uttar Pradesh has seen similar growth. Until 2017, the state had just 17 medical colleges. But under the One District One Medical College policy, around 81 medical colleges are now operational or being developed across the state’s 75 districts.
This kind of expansion aims to reduce pressure on major hospitals while improving healthcare in smaller cities.
Hospital Expected To Create Jobs Too
The KDSG Super Speciality Hospital is not only about healthcare services. It will also generate employment in the region. Nearly 1,000 direct and indirect jobs are expected to come from this project.
Doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff will all be needed. That means new opportunities for many young professionals in the medical field.
Kapil Dev, while speaking at the event, thanked the Chief Minister for supporting the project. He said the hospital will try its best to build a strong reputation and deliver quality healthcare services.
For the people of Greater Noida and the NCR region, this hospital may soon become an important centre for advanced medical care. And honestly, for many families, having good treatment close to home makes a huge difference.
