Divine Glow on Full Moon: Grand Gomti Aarti Held at Daliganj’s Mankameshwar Ghat

Lucknow: On the sacred occasion of Purnima (Full Moon), a grand Gomti Aarti was आयोजित on Monday evening at Daliganj’s Mankameshwar Ghat.

Under the serene moonlit sky, the beautifully performed aarti on the banks of the Gomti River created a divine atmosphere of faith and devotion. A large number of devotees, including women, youth, and elderly citizens, gathered to witness and participate in the spiritual ceremony.

The aarti commenced with Vedic chants and the sound of conch shells. Priests performed traditional rituals and offered prayers to Maa Gomti with elaborately lit lamps. Hundreds of diyas were illuminated across the ghat, their reflections shimmering gracefully in the river waters.

The air resonated with chants of Har Har Mahadev and Gomti Maiya Ki Jai, filling the surroundings with spiritual energy.

During the ceremony, devotees floated diyas in the river, praying for peace, prosperity, and family well-being. Many also took the holy dip on Purnima and performed acts of charity.

To ensure smooth proceedings, local police personnel were deployed, and the event concluded peacefully.
