Discussions are focused on coordination, upcoming elections, and major organisational plans. He will also review development work and Holi preparations in the city.
Key Meeting With RSS Leaders
After landing by helicopter, the Chief Minister went to the Circuit House and then to the Annexe building. There he began a coordination meeting with officials of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Senior BJP leaders are also present.
Sources say election strategy may be discussed. Organisational programs of RSS are on the agenda too. RSS Prant Pracharak Ramesh and other office bearers joined the meeting. The mood is serious, discussions seem detailed.
Temple Visit on Schedule
After the meeting, Yogi will visit Gorakhnath Temple. He will offer prayers to Guru Gorakhnath. This visit carries emotional value for him, Gorakhpur is his political and spiritual base.
He will also pay respects at the samadhi of Mahant Avedyanath. The late Mahant was his mentor. Such moments matter, especially in Gorakhpur.
Review of Development and Holi Prep
The Chief Minister will hold a review meeting with district officials. Development projects will be checked. Progress reports will be taken, maybe strict instructions too.
Holi preparations are another focus. Law and order, cleanliness, crowd control, everything is under review. Evening plans include attending the Bhakt Prahlad Shobha Yatra organised by the Holika Dahan Utsav Committee.
Why This Visit Matters
This visit is not routine. Political signals are strong. Coordination between BJP and RSS always draws attention, especially before elections.
Gorakhpur remains central to Yogi’s politics. Every move here gets noticed. The next few days could shape local strategy in a big way.
