Uma Bharti backs Modi; calls Manmohan Singh a 'Weak PM'

Agra: Justifying the raincoat remark of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his predecessor, the Union Minister Uma Bharti on Thursday dubbed Dr. Manmohan Singh as the "Weak PM", who kept mum when the previous UPA government was involved in various scams.

Seeking to downplay the opposition outrage over Modi's remark made in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Ms. Bharti jibed at Singh as she said that whenever the questions related to scams were put up in front of him, he just had one thing to say, "Mainu Ki Pata" (Punjabi version of I don't know).

What else Uma Bharti said?

- Country was governed by a weak PM for ten years who was ignored by his own ministers and party leaders.

Uma Bharti attacks Rahul Gandhi and Congress:

- The only achievement of Rahul is that he is the grand grandson of Jawahar Lal Nehru and grandson of Indira Gandhi.

- Congress formed government in Assam with the help of Naxals.

- Congress gave Naxalism and Casteism to country.
