Race for Rajasthan CM-Vasundhara, leads the race

Scindia has experience in running the government and she is also one of the most popular leaders of the party in the state. In several surveys conducted before the elections, 27 percent of the people of the state believed that if BJP wins this time then Vasundhara Raje should be the CM.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia once again leads the race for the top post in the desert state after BJP’s resounding victory in the assembly poll.

Scindia has experience in running the government and she is also one of the most popular leaders of the party in the state. In several surveys conducted before the elections, 27 percent of the people of the state believed that if BJP wins this time then Vasundhara Raje should be the CM.

Another name doing the round is that of BJP MP Mahant Balaknath, who had also contested the assembly elections in Rajasthan.

He is called Yogi Adityanath of Rajasthan. Mahant Balaknath, who comes from OBC category, is the eighth Mahant of Mastnath Math. In a survey before the elections, 13 percent people liked Mahant Balaknath as CM. After Vasundhara, Balaknath was at number two.

Diya Kumari, who belongs to the Jaipur royal family, is currently the BJP MP from Rajsamand. However, the party had fielded her this time in the assembly elections and she won by record margin. However, in the survey conducted before the elections, only 3 percent people had given Diya Kumari as their choice for the post of CM.

Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and state BJP president CP Joshi were also in the race for CM.
