All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Sachin Pilot has said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's move to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will not make any difference to the opposition alliance 'India'.

He also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should contest elections on the basis of the ten-year report card of the central government instead of religious issues.

While addressing the reporters in Tonk, Pilot said, "It is absolutely true that Nitish Kumar has once again changed sides and gone with BJP... but I understand that the alliance of our alliance 'India'... our seat. -It is sharing.. We are fighting the elections together and the issues we have come up with will make any difference.'' He said that we will fight the Lok Sabha elections with full strength.

Pilot, an MLA from Tonk, was on a visit to his constituency to attend the wedding ceremony. He said that Rahul Gandhi's yatra is going on continuously and BJP is scared of the immense support he is getting for the yatra. The issues raised by Rahul Gandhi are touchy issues... public issues and the public is liking those issues only.

He said, "BJP should go to the elections on the basis of the report card of the Central Government instead of religious issues." Pilot said that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya was done after the decision of the Supreme Court of this country. Has happened. When the Supreme Court gave that decision, everyone welcomed it.

He said that if a grand temple of Lord Ram has been constructed, everyone is happy in it, everyone is involved in it, but taking credit for that construction... Lord Ram should not be limited. Lord Ram is present in every particle. Lord Ram does not belong to any party, one community or one government, one leader, one party, one country… He belongs to the entire universe.

Pilot said that ERCP was a big issue, which was pending but the government signed the MoU before the Lok Sabha elections for political reasons.
