Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann visits Ramlala in Ayodhya

Kejriwal and Mann were not present at the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. Kejriwal had then said that he would be visiting the Ram Temple with his family later.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann went to Ayodhya today with their families to visit Ramlala.

Both the Chief Ministers reached Ayodhya Airport at around 1 o'clock. After this, they directly reached Ram temple and had darshan of Ram Lala and then left for Delhi today itself.

Kejriwal and Mann were not present at the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. Kejriwal had then said that he would be visiting the Ram Temple with his family later.

Many senior opposition leaders, who were invited to attend the ceremony, had also chosen to skip the same. Congress leaders had said that the BJP had turned the consecration ceremony a political event and therefore its leaders would not attend the ceremony.

Earlier on Sunday, about 325 MLAs of both the houses (Assembly and Legislative Council) of Uttar Pradesh, except the main opposition party Samajwadi Party (SP), visited the newly constructed Ram temple along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and worshiped Shri Ram Lalla. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath prostrated before the Lord and offered prayers at the Ram temple. When the MLAs reached the temple town, enthusiasm was seen among the residents of Ayodhya and they showered flowers. As soon as the bus entered Ayodhya, it started raining flowers. People were shouting slogans in excitement.

On January 22, Ramlala's life was consecrated in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had consecrated Ramlala in the presence of thousands of Ram devotees. Since then the doors of Ram temple have been opened for the common people. Since then a large number of people have been arriving to have darshan of Ramlala.
