PM Modi greets Mulayam Singh Yadav on his 82nd Birthday

The Prime Minister said, 'He is one of the most senior and experienced leaders of our country, who is enthusiastic about agriculture and rural development.'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday spoke to Samajwadi Party founder and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and wished him a happy birthday. The Prime Minister said, 'He is one of the most senior and experienced leaders of our country, who is enthusiastic about agriculture and rural development. I pray for his long and healthy life. '

PM Modi calls Mulayam Singh on birthday:

On the 82nd birthday of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, many leaders including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have congratulated him.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the SP founder on his birthday and tweeted, '' Happy birthday to the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the founder of Samajwadi Party, Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav ji. Wish you good health and long life from Prabhu Shri Ram.

The Samajwadi Party also congratulated Mulayam on his birthday. He tweeted, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the revered Netaji's father, the father of Samajwadi Party." The party said, 'With the blessings of Netaji, we are all determined to strengthen the Samajwadi Party by continuing the struggle for social justice together. Prayers to God for Netaji's longevity and health. '

The Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade set up a blood donation camp and distributed fruits at local hospitals. Posters put up at Samajwadi Party (SP) office on its founder, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s birthday.

The veteran leader is not likely to participate in the celebrations since he has been facing health issues.

His younger brother and president of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia (PSPL). Shivpal Singh Yadav, has asked his party workers to celebrate the occasion with simplicity.
