New Delhi: The corona pandemic crisis is increasing in the world. Scientists from many countries are busy preparing the corona vaccine. Treatment of antibody drug is being discussed all over the world regarding corona. Meanwhile, Emergency use of an antibody drug, has been approved in the US for the treatment of corona.

Anti body approved:

US health officials have reported that emergency use of an experimental antibody drug Regeneron or REGN-COV2 antibody drug that helps fight corona has been approved. This antibody drug was used by President Donald Trump last month when he was Corona positive.

Drug was used for Donald Trump:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the introduction of Regeneron or REGN-COV2 antibodies to patients with mild to moderate symptoms during hospitalization and worsening conditions. The drug may be given only once during treatment through an IV injection.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has permitted its use in adults and children over the age of 12 who weigh less than 88 pounds (40 kg) and who are COVID-19 due to age or certain other medical conditions Are at high risk of serious illness.

The antibody drug Regeneron or REGN-COV2 is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies. It is specifically designed to eliminate or reduce the infection of the corona-spreading virus SARS-CoV-2.

Regeneron said the initial dose would be made available to about 300,000 patients through the federal government allocation program. Patients will not be charged for this drug, but may have to pay some part of the cost of delivering the IV. In a way, this drug will be available to Americans for free.
