Indian Army celebrates International Yoga Day at Siachen

New Delhi: Indian Army, who are protecting the nation from enemies on the world’s highest battlefield- Siachen Glacier, celebrated International Yoga Day on Tuesday.

Yoga asanas (exercise) have been conducted by army’s Fire & Fury Corps at Siachen, Kargil, Leh and several other posts in Jammu and Kashmir.

In high altitude areas, where unsympathetic climatic conditions overcome, Indian Army practices Yoga exercises on a daily basis.

Other armed forces in the form of Indian Navy and Indian Air Force also celebrated the International Yoga Day.
