In front of fifty-seven countries, Pakistan spews venom against India regarding Kashmir

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said this in a meeting organized on Jammu and Kashmir under the OIC Coordination Group Summit. The Pakistani delegation led by Dar participated in the meeting.

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, while singing the praises of Kashmir in the OIC meeting, has said that India should cancel the illegal actions of August 5, 2019 and release all political prisoners. He said that India is depriving the Kashmiri people of their basic rights and freedoms. On this occasion, the Muslim group led by Saudi Arabia and Iran also targeted India on Kashmir.

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) attacked India over the Jammu and Kashmir issue during a high-profile summit in the Gambia capital to discuss Gaza and other issues faced by Muslims around the world.

The OIC said Kashmir remains a priority for the Muslim group and called for resolution of the issue in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions. Meanwhile, Pakistan said that a meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Kashmir was held on the sidelines of the summit.

Pakistan said that India is systematically depriving the Kashmiri people of their basic rights and freedoms. Dar said that Indian authorities have created a climate of fear to suppress dissent, and inflammatory statements and unjustified claims by Indian leaders should be addressed.

According to Pakistan Foreign Office, the meeting reviewed the political and security environment in occupied Kashmir. At the same time, the OIC Contact Group also reviewed the serious situation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said India should revoke the illegal measures of August 5, 2019 and release all political prisoners.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that these actions of India are a serious threat to regional peace, India should implement the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
