Cold day alert-Visibility will be low in these states, cold wave will last for three days

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the winter storm is not going to stop in the states of North India.

People in the northern states of the country are facing severe cold these days. The problems have increased due to dense fog and falling temperatures. Cold wave will continue for the next 3 days. Due to which cold day situation will persist.

On one hand, the weather remained dry in hilly areas like Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, while people living in the plains had to face severe cold. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the winter storm is not going to stop in the states of North India.

Along with this, people will also have to deal with severe cold and dense fog. There is also a possibility of rain in some areas of the North-East. There are chances of rain in some areas of Tamil Nadu.

It is extremely cold in the country's capital Delhi. The minimum temperature in Delhi can go up to 9 degrees. There is a possibility of fog throughout the day. Orange alert has been issued by IMD for Saturday. People may also have to face cold wave. Due to this the cold will increase further. There is low visibility due to fog in Delhi. Due to which many flights are running late at IGI Airport. Also some flights got cancelled.

Dense fog is expected in parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Dense fog will prevail over Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, hilly parts of West Bengal, and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Visibility will also be low in these areas due to dense fog.

Cold day alert was issued due to severe cold in Punjab, Haryana-Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. The severity of winter is going to be maximum in these states. There is going to be a cold day in East Rajasthan also. Let us tell you that people are advised to avoid cold during cold days.

Cold wave is going to prevail in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of temperature going below zero in some areas of Uttarakhand.
