Sensex, NIFTY open in green on Friday; BSE up 106 points

Key Indian equity indices trade higher during early session

Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark index for the Indian equities markets made a positive start on Thursday.

The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 30,894.82 points, was ruling at 30941.20 points, up 106.88 points from its previous close at 30,834.32 points.

The 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was also trading in the green at 9,537.00 points, up 45.75 points or 0.48 percent.
