NIA arrests ISIS sympathizer from Uttar Pradesh

Hardoi: National Intelligence Agency (NIA) along with Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a self proclaimed cleric for allegedly planning terror attacks in India.

Abdul Sami Qasmi, who hails from Saleempur of New Delhi, was arrested midway while he was travelling from Hardoi to Lucknow on Friday.

"He has been arrested under the suspicion of planning to form a terror organisation in the country ", said an NIA personnel.
