Ramoji Rao, Chairman of Ramoji Group of Companies, passed away at the age of 87. He breathed his last in a hospital in Hyderabad this morning. He was ill for a long time and was admitted to the hospital. Ramoji Rao was considered a big personality in the media world. He was the owner of Ramoji Film City and ETV Network. In the year 2016, he was also awarded the Padma Vibhushan.

According to the information, Ramoji Rao was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on June 5 after he suffered from high blood pressure and shortness of breath. PM Modi has also expressed grief over the death of Ramoji Rao. He wrote on X with his photo, "This is sad, he was a visionary who brought a revolution in Indian media. His rich contributions left an indelible mark on journalism and film world. With his remarkable efforts, he set new standards of innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world."
