Spiritual guru Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has undergone emergency brain surgery at Delhi's Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. A senior doctor of the hospital gave this information on Wednesday. Sadhguru was admitted to a private hospital after suffering 'life-threatening' bleeding in the brain and is now feeling better.

Indraprastha Apollo Hospital said in a statement, “He underwent surgery on March 17 to remove bleeding in the brain. After surgery, Sadhguru has been removed from the ventilator. His health is continuously improving and all his important health related aspects have improved.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the spiritual leader and also wished for his speedy recovery. Modi said in a post on 'X', "Spoke to Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev ji and wished him good health and speedy recovery."

Sadhguru immediately responded to Modi's post, saying he was 'overwhelmed' by the Prime Minister's concern over his health.

The spiritual leader said in a post, “Dear Prime Minister, you should not be worried about me. You have many tasks to do for a nation. Touched by your concern, I am on the road to recovery. Thank you."
