Stabbing attack at a Library in Canada, 1 dead 6 wounded

New Delhi: The suspect attacked a number of people with a knife in a public library in Vancouver, Canada. One woman was killed and several others were injured in the attack. Police has taken the accused into custody.

Knife attack in Canadian Library:

In Canada, a man made a knife attack in and around a library in North Vancouver, British Columbia province, killing one woman and injuring six others. Frank Zhang of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team reported that a suspect has been detained. He told that he is around 20 years of age.

He said that the authorities are yet to know the motive behind the incident. Steve Mossop, an eyewitness, reported that he and one of his companions saw a blood-stained woman who told them that she had just been stabbed. He then saw several victims within a radius of about 100 meters.

Mossop said of the attacker, "It seemed that he was running in one direction and stabbing anyone who was on the way." Canadian Public Security Minister Bill Blair took to Twitter to Grieved the incident and called it a senseless act of violence.

Interrogation of accused continues:

At present, the integrated homicide investigation team in the case has taken the accused into their custody. Police is questioning him about why he committed the murder. So that further action can come in the case.
