All those above 45 can get corona vaccine dose from April 1: Govt

New Delhi: Big news is coming about Corona vaccination in the country. From April 1, everyone above 45 years will be able to get the Corona vaccine. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has announced this. He has said that there is plenty of vaccine available in the country. There is no shortage of corona vaccine. Explain that till now only vaccines were being given to people with serious diseases between 45 and 60 years.

Meanwhile, out of 401 samples sent from Punjab for genom Sequencing, 81% of the UK variants have been confirmed. The youth are being affected the most by this.

State Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is worried about this. Ravil Thukral, Advisor to the Chief Minister, has appealed to Prime Minister Modi that people below 60 years should also be included in the vaccination program. Before Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra have also raised the demand to vaccinate the youth.

Corona virus cases are rising once again in the country. So far, 4.72 crore corona vaccine supplements have been given in the country. According to the data released through the Union Health Ministry, a total of 4,72,07,134 vaccine doses have been given till 7 pm on Monday.

According to the information of the Ministry of Health, on Monday, 3,34,367 beneficiaries who are suffering from serious illness over the age of 45 years, 13,07,614 beneficiaries above 60 years of age have been given the first dose of vaccine. At the same time, 40,976 healthcare and 72,153 frontline workers have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 44,728 healthcare and 1,65,797 frontline workers have been given the second dose of corona vaccine.
