Story behind Most Wanted Gangster Vikas Dubey's encounter

Kanpur: After the killing of eight policemen in Kanpur, absconding gangster Vikas Dubey was coming with UP STF from Ujjain to Kanpur. Vikas Dubey, who was trying to escape on the way, was killed by the police in an encounter. According to the information, the UP STF convoy carrying Vikas Dubey overturned. During this time Vikas started fleeing, then the police killed him in an encounter. According to eyewitnesses, they heard the sound of gunfire after the accident. Based on that, Vikas is said to have died.

Killed in encounter:

Vikas Dubey, accused of killing 8 police personnel in Kanpur encounter case, died in an encounter with STF in Bhouti area, 17 km before Kanpur on Friday i.e. around 6:30 am today.

In the Tata Safari vehicle in which Vikas Dubey was being brought, there were three STF personnel. Vikas was sitting in the back of the car and two STF personnel were sitting on both sides. At the time of the incident, there was light rains in the Bhauti area of ​​Kanpur, causing a lot of mud. The road was also less broad.

Vikas tried to run with pistol:

Under these circumstances, the STF vehicle running at a high speed was overturned. The culprit Vikas tried to run away after seeing the vehicle overturned and ran away with a 9 mm pistol of a STF jawan. As he ran away, he shot back. On this, STF also fired, in which one bullet hit his waist and the other chest. It is being told that four STF personnel have also been injured in this incident.

Injured Vikas Dubey was brought to Hospital in Kanpur in critical condition. He died shortly after being brought to the hospital. Here, STF personnel injured in the incident have also been admitted to the hospital, one of which is said to be in critical condition.
