Lucknow: Kalyan Singh, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been found to be corona positive. After which he has been admitted to PGI Hospital, Lucknow. He was sampled by the Health Department team to investigate the corona virus. After which his report has been found positive.

Corona virus infection is increasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh, including in the country. As of Sunday, the total number of corona infected patients in UP has crossed three lakh. So far, three lakh 12 thousand 414 cases of covid-19 have been reported in UP.

Recovery rate in India is improving:

So far, two lakh 39 thousand 485 patients have been recovered from the illness and discharged. Now the number of total active patients in the state has been 68 thousand 122. While 4429 patients have died so far. At the same time, more than 75 lakh tests have been done.

According to John Hopkins University data, a total of 2,90,06,033 people have been found infected with the corona pandemic so far, of which 1,96,25,959 have been cured. At the same time, 9,24,105 people have also died due to corona infection worldwide.

At the same time, according to the Union Health Ministry, the rate of infection in India has reached 78 percent. This clearly shows that infected patients in India are now recovering rapidly.

A statement issued by the ministry said that 77,512 people have been cured of the infection during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, a total of 37,80,107 people have been cured so far. The gap between the cured people and the infected is steadily increasing. Today it has reached close to 28 lakhs (27,93,509).
