The MPs who have been found to be covid infected include BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, BJP MP from Karnataka Anant Kumar Hegde. Explain that the Corona investigation of these MPs was done before the commencement of the Monsoon Session 2020.

The monsoon session of Parliament has started today i.e. Monday. Due to the fast growing corona virus in the country, considerable care is being taken in the Parliament. Only those MPs whose report of the Corona investigation has come into the negative are involved in the proceedings of Parliament. A corona test is being conducted for all MPs coming to Delhi to attend the proceedings of the House.
Before the monsoon session, BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, BJP MP from Karnataka Anant Kumar Hegde have been found to be infected. Due to which they are not participating in the proceedings of the House. Apart from these, Sukhbir Singh, Pratap Rao Jadhav, Janardan Singh, Hanuman Beniwal, Selvam ji, Pratap Rao Patil, Ramshankar Katheria, Satyapal Singh have also been found to be corona positive.
This time due to Corona virus pandemic, everything will be changed in Parliament now as compared to before. During the monsoon session in Parliament, MPs must fully follow the Corona guidelines.
