Stir in Samajwadi Party office; Akhilesh Yadav bundled into Police van

Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party has also come on the streets in support of the Farmers movement. Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has openly supported the Farmers movement. Demonstrations are being held in front of Akhilesh Yadav's residence.

Police has also arrested many activists. The Lucknow police did not allow Akhilesh Yadav to go to the peasant demonstration. Akhilesh Yadav, who was sitting on a dharna outside the house, has been taken into custody by the police.

Samajwadi Party workers arrested by Police:

Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, who was preparing to take out the Kisan Yatra. From Kannauj in support of the farmers, placed under house arrest in the morning. Simultaneously, dozens of activists, including 3 protesting legislative council members arrested. The police sealed the entire area from Akhilesh Yadav's house to Samajwadi Party office.

Kisan Yatra:

The Samajwadi Party announced the Kisan Yatra celebrations across the state on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav himself was going to lead this journey from Kannauj. There was a preparation for a Kisan Yatra in a distance of 13 km from Mandi to Tirwa town formed under Akhilesh Yadav government.

Akhilesh Yadav himself was going to join this journey by driving a tractor. This preparation of Samajwadi Party thwarted in capital.

The protest against the arrest of SP leader Akhilesh Yadav in his house strongly opposed by the party workers. The arrested Legislative Council member Udayveer Singh said that no matter how much the Yogi government adopts a dictatorial attitude, it will not stop the Samajwadi Party workers.
