Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that testing labs have an important role in fighting the global epidemic like corona virus.

CM Yogi said that due to the decisions taken at the appropriate time and the steps taken by the Central and State Governments, it has helped a lot in preventing the infection of Corona virus. It has also been successful in controlling it through lockdown. All these efforts will prevent corona virus infection.

Pool testing has started in KGMU, Lucknow:

He said that on March 23, the number of testing in the state was 72, which has increased to about 3000 today. He said that in view of a state with a large population like Uttar Pradesh, the capacity of this testing will have to be increased rapidly. He said that pool testing has started in KGMU.

The Chief Minister said that to get control of corona virus infection, the testing process has to be speeded up while accepting the challenge of testing. Also, medical infections have to be stopped. All precautions should be taken for this.

Testing labs established:

CM Yogi said that testing is being done in 14 institutes. Efforts should be made to establish testing labs in the districts where there are no state medical colleges.

He said that in view of the future We have to ready for fight against Covid-19 and other viruses. He said that it is necessary to prevent negligence and increase awareness in the context of control of infection.
