Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the role of the medical team is very important in the battle against Covid-19. The Health Department and Medical Education Department work as a dedicated team to ensure all efforts to control corona infection.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is reviewing the unlock system at a high level meeting today. Continuous vigilance should be taken in the districts of NCR. The number of beds in hospitals should be doubled by making a concrete action plan for Meerut division.

All equipment should remain functional:

The Chief Minister said that better sanitation arrangements should be made in Covid and Non Covid hospitals. All the medical equipment in these hospitals should remain functional and should also have adequate availability.

'Depending on the condition of the patients, they should be admitted to L-1, L-2 or L-3 covid Hospital for treatment. For uninterrupted supply of oxygen, its backup must be arranged', said CM Yogi.

He further added 'It should be ensured that doctors and nursing staff take regular rounds and patients are constantly monitored by paramedics. He asked all the Chief Medical Officers to regularly inspect the hospitals of their respective districts.'

The Chief Minister said that monitoring committees in rural and urban areas should be kept active for this purpose. Continuous communication should be maintained with the members of the committee to get information about their works. The Chief Minister has asked the public to be made aware constantly to prevent infection of covid-19.
