New Delhi: The four states of the country, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, Assam and 1 Union Territory of Puducherry, the election battle is going on.

Mamata Banerjee files Nomination:

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has filed her nomination from Nandigram today. Mamata arrived to worship at the Shiva temple before enrollment. After this, he took out a padyatra in Haldia and filled the form. Meanwhile, BJP candidate Shubhendu Adhikari also reached Nandigram today and inaugurated his new election office.

In her address to TMC workers, Mamata Banerjee said, "It is not that easy to divide people based on 70:30 (Hindu and Muslim vote share) ratio. For us, all are equal. We don’t differentiate people based on calculation and religion.”

Chandi paath before nominating name:

Mamata Banerjee also recited 'Chandi Paath'. She said, "You cannot teach me Hinduism. I have shown you that I know the mantras to Goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswati, Kali and Durga. It is not how you do it, memorising some lines before the election and dropping them at meetings."

BJP takes a dig at Mamata:

Political parties are trying to make a place in the heart of the people by reprimanding each other. While the AIADMK-BJP alliance in Tamil Nadu has suffered a setback from the DMDK, the leaders of the CPIM in Kerala are in confusion with the two-term policy.

"Earlier the CM insulted Lord Ram more than once. Then, she wrongly recited the Saraswati Mantra. Again she has recited the mantra wrongly at a public meeting," Suvendu Adhikari tweeted.
