Subsidised and cheap electricity, "gets you votes", says Arvind Kejriwal

He posted this tweet to the reaction of news related to free electrity. He added, Maharashtra Government will give subsidy on electricity, just like the AAP government gave in Delhi.

New Delhi: The assembly election of Delhi was held on 8th of February 2020. All exit polls are clearly supporting the Aam Admi Party. After the declaration of predictions of result Arvind Kejriwal expressed his happiness. He said that cheap electricity and subsidized facilities gives votes.

"I am glad cheap electricity has become part of national political discourse. Delhi has shown that it is possible to provide free/cheap electricity. Delhi has shown that it also gets you votes. 21st century India must have 24x7 power available to all at cheap rates," Mr Kejriwal tweeted.

He shared his happiness after the polls declared in his side. He posted this tweet to the reaction of news related to free electrity. He added, Maharashtra Government will give subsidy on electricity, just like the AAP government gave in Delhi, Mr Kejriwal today said that the 21st Century India must have cheap power available round the clock.

He also tweeted about the case happened in Gargi College. He tweeted, "Misbehaviour with our daughters at Gargi College is very sad and disappointing. This cannot be tolerated at all. The culprits should be punished with the harshest. And it should be ensured that the students studying in that colleges are safe.

Protest of Gargi student:

Gargi College is full women college. The student of Gargi College started protesting outside the college campus against the administration. Ms. Promila, Principal of Gargi College denied any written complaint from college students. While, all this happening in Gargi College, South Delhi DCP Atul Thakur promised to do complete investigation. DVP said there no official complaint done by college administration or students.

Gargi College and Women safety might me discussed in Parliament:

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has strongly condemned the molestation of college students.He demanded that this matter should be discussed in Upper House of Parliament.
