LIVE MP Political Crisis : SC to hear BJP's Floor Test plea Today

Bhopal: Kamal Nath government had to prove its majority on Monday. But they were failed in that process. The session of Vidhan Sabha was adjourned. After this, BJP demanded for the immediate floor test in Madhya Pradesh.

The assembly was adjourned till 26 March.

Supreme Court to hear Shiv Raj Chauhan's petition on the floor test. After the Budget session assembly was rejected Yesterday, floor test was also cancelled.

Live Updates:

-Hearing started in the Supreme Court regarding the Madhya Pradesh case. However, no one from the Congress side was present during this period.

-After this, the court said that no decision can be given until all the parties hear. In this case, the hearing was deferred till 10.30 yesterday.

-The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Government of Madhya Pradesh in this case through the Standing Council. Apart from this, notice has also been issued to the Congress party and the speaker. With this, the hearing has been postponed till tomorrow and now the matter will be heard on Wednesday.

Resignation of party member:

Coming out of the Raj Bhavan around 12.20 am, Nath told reporters that the governor had called him for a discussion.

“The governor told me that the proceedings of the state assembly should be carried out smoothly. So I told him that I will talk to the speaker in this regard on Monday morning,” he said.

The Kamal Nath-led government has been facing deep crisis following the resignation of 22 Congress MLAs after former Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia quit the party on Holi.
