New Delhi: Congress leader Digambar Kamat on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban the tricolor mask. In fact, there are many types of masks present in the markets these days, and now in keeping with Independence Day, tricolor masks are also being sold in the markets.

These masks have the three colors of the national flag of India and the Ashoka Chakra in between. Congress leader Digambar Kamat has raised objections about these masks.

Requested PM to ban the mask:

Digambar Kamat made a tweet tagging the PMO and urged that such masks be banned in all states. He said, "I am very sad to see this photo. Apart from the flags on Independence Day, badges, hand-worn bands, turban etc. are sold. But this time due to Corona, their demand is less. Different tricolor-style masks are attracting youngsters in their place.

Some have written India and some have written Happy Independence Day. These masks are selling more this time. Their price is Rs 15-20 per piece. Rajan associated with this work in Shivala Bazar said that besides such masks, tricolor hat is also in good demand.

According to the quality of the clothes, they are being sold from Rs 30 to Rs 50 per piece. Good clothes have also been used in masks. Nearly 50,000 masks have been sold across the city. They are also in good demand in outlying districts.
