Heavy Rainfall in all-over India; Red alert for 48 Hours

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity of thunderstorm in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity of thunderstorm in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning.

Also, the department informed that during the next 2-3 days, heavy to very heavy rainfall will occur at different places in major parts of North West India (Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh).

Waterlogging in many parts of South India:

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate intensity rainfall along with isolated places in Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Shamli, Karnal, Roorkee, Khatauli, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Najibabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Agra, Tundla, Mathura Thunderstorms may occur.

On the other hand, after continuous rains in Kerala, there has been waterlogging in some parts of Kottayam.

In another forecast, IMD reported that rain activity is likely to continue over Jharkhand, West Bengal and parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
