New Delhi: Tackling our entangled thoughts is something that often drives us to utter chaos. Actually, the human brain acts as a sieve that often segregates perceptions from actions. As our brain works in complete contradiction with our heart, the resulting output turns out to be in contradiction to our own perceptions. This leads to frustrations and unhappiness.

Our actions are generally the amalgamation of perceptions and directions emanating from our brain and the heart. Sometimes even when these two organs comply with each other, circumstances often take a lead in setting the course of our action.

Uncertainties of life:

“Life is full of unexpected and uncertainties” this is the most common phrase passed on from generations and it proves to be 99.9% true. No one can predict what lies ahead in any person’s life.

Right from seeing the world for the first time to having its glimpse for the one last time, our life is spiced up with infinite reels; it’s the garnish of memorable moments that make our life worthy and satisfactory. But the major question that gushes out every now and then is that ‘Are our actions coinciding with our heart or Are they a mere outcome of the mind’s manipulation?

Chasing a mirag:

May be the competitiveness has seeped so deep within our cells that we hardly take a pause while chasing our dreams in the fear of losing. Sometimes we become oblivious to the fact that what we consider as our dream is nothing but a mere manipulation of our mind which is mostly cushioned and pushed forth by our circumstances. Our idea of the ‘ideal life’ seems more gleaming than the life itself. This is the point where we need to halt and think.

This is the point where we need to breathe in our values and breathe out our materialism. Maybe we need to focus on what our heart wants rather than aimlessly chasing the mirage like dreams and complying with the stereotypical societal norms.

Time to take a decision:

Break the chain. Ponder on the repercussions of aimless chase. Rebuild your thoughts which are dominated by your heart’s will. Will that gives you the hope to live. Live not just for the sake of living but live for the sake of enjoying every moment of life. Live for a life where you come out satisfied eventually no matter what life throws you into. Live for living and not for winning. Live for smiling this very moment instead of gathering heaps of distant happiness. Live a life where today seems the most beautiful day you’ve ever lived. Live for yourself and not for others.
