IMD predicts moderate rain in Delhi, Haryana & other states till March 24

New Delhi: Due to the western disturbance, the weather is changing in many states of the country. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hill states from 21 to 24 March. According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rains are expected over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate rains may continue over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Rainfall activities will increase again in central India from 22 and 23 March.

IMD predicts rain in Jammu Kashmir:

Thunderstorms will begin in Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Muzaffarabad on March 21 and gradually increase in rains over most parts of the western Himalayan states. Rainfall is likely to begin from March 21 in northwest India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh.

By 22 March, rains will increase considerably in Punjab. Light to moderate rain and thunder showers are likely to fall over Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh, northern Rajasthan as well as several parts of Delhi and NCR on 22 March. In Arunachal Pradesh too, light to moderate rains may occur at some places.

According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in some places of North India, especially Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh with thunderstorms at some places. Rain activities in the mountains of North India will increase further from today. Light rains can also be seen in parts of Uttarakhand and Punjab.

The weather may change in Bihar today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in many districts here. In many places there can be strong thunderstorms and lightning.
