New Delhi: India continues in corona vaccination. More than 40 million people vaccinated in 63 days in the country. A total of 16.12 lakh doses of the vaccine administered to the beneficiaries on Saturday, the 64th day of the vaccination campaign against the corona pandemic.

Vaccination Program:

Together these, 4.36 crore doses provided to the beneficiaries across the country. The Union Health Ministry said that this figure is till seven in the evening, it may increase by the time the last report is prepared by late night.

Corona Vaccination in India:

According to the ministry, those who vaccinated include 77.63 lakh health workers (first dose). 48.51 lakh health workers (second dose), 80.49 lakh frontline workers(first dose), 25.41 lakh frontline workers (second dose).

Apart from these, 1.69 crores above 60 years of age and 35.11 lakh people suffering from serious diseases above 45 years of age are also included.

The ministry said that out of the 16.12 doses given on Saturday, 14.41 lakh beneficiaries included the first dose and 1.71 lakh health workers and the second dose to the frontline workers.

Sudden increase in Corona cases:

Meanwhile, Corona virus infection is increasing rapidly in the country. Corona infection is on the rise in eight states of the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, the transition graph is going upwards in eight states. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka and Haryana.

According to the ministry, more than one lakh have been found infected in the last three days. While 40,953 new cases were found on Saturday, 39,726 new cases were reported on Friday and 35,871 new cases on Thursday.
