New Delhi: AQI has improved due to change in Delhi-NCR weather and cold winds. According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is active these days. For this reason, the effect of cold mountain winds is also seen in Delhi.

Cold winds in Delhi NCR:

In the NCR cities including the capital Delhi, people got some relief from the heat on Tuesday morning. Cold winds have been blowing in Delhi since morning. The temperature of Delhi has also been recorded at 26 degrees Celsius. After the relief from the heat, there was an increase in the number of morning walkers on the streets and parks of Delhi.

Snowfall in hilly areas:

According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is active these days. Due to this, there is snowfall in the hilly areas. Its effect is also seen in the plains, where rain and cold winds are going on.

However, this western disturbance will not last long. Recently, the Meteorological Department has informed that from March to May, a lot of heat will start falling in the entire NCR including Delhi. Temperatures are expected to reach 36-37 degrees Celsius by the end of March.

Due to snowfall in the mountains, cold winds also occurred in Delhi on Monday morning. After which Delhiites got some relief from the heat. However, due to the intense sunshine in the day, the prick of heat increased again.

According to the Meteorological Department, soon the temperature will start climbing again. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday was recorded at 32.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal. Whereas on Sunday it was recorded at 34 degrees.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 18.9 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal. This is the lowest temperature this season. The humidity level in the air ranged from 54 to 85 percent. Najafgarh was the hottest place in Delhi with a minimum temperature of 22.5 ° C.
