New Delhi: Many states of the country are experiencing cold. Cold wave is wreaking havoc in North India. In many districts of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, the temperature has reached zero or below zero. The Meteorological Department has not told that cold wave will continue in Delhi for the next three days.

Snowfall in Kashmir:

According to the Meteorological Department, snowfall and rain may occur at many places in Kashmir in the next twenty-four hours. It will be cold in Uttarakhand. In many areas in this mountainous state, the temperature is around zero degree. Due to snowfall in the mountains, the cold has increased.

Rain Alert in Uttarakhand:

Uttarakhand is expected to be cloudy on 31 December and 1 January and there will be dense fog in the morning on both days. Light rain is also expected on January 3 and 4. High-altitude areas in Jammu and Kashmir and many low-lying areas including Srinagar are also experiencing snowfall.

In Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, the temperature dropped below zero degrees at eight places. For the first time this season after snowfall, Dalhousie recorded a maximum temperature drop of up to 14 ° C. In the coming days, the cold may increase further.

Cold wave conditions, dense fog at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh

The shivering cold in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in western UP in the first week of the new year. During this, cold and fog will occur. Such weather is expected to last several days.

The Meteorological Department has said that due to western disturbance, snowfall has occurred in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The department said that cold and dry northern and northwest winds from western Himalayas are flowing towards the plains. Due to this, the minimum temperature in North India has been recorded.
