New Delhi: New strains of corona virus found in Britain have knocked in India. According to the news reports, 20 cases of new strains reported in the country so far.

This includes an Anglo-Indian woman who had recently returned to Delhi from the United Kingdom and later arrived in Andhra Pradesh by a special train after escaping from an isolation center in Delhi. A new strain of virus also found on Tuesday.

Woman returned from Britain:

Katmaneni Bhaskar, Commissioner of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, said that no evidence yet found of the outbreak of new UK strains in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the new strain has not spread to Andhra Pradesh because of a woman from Britain.

The report of her son who was traveling with her has been negative. Appealing to the public, Bhaskar said that there is no need to panic. Do not believe the rumors as the situation is constantly monitored by the government.

According to official figures, the Andhra Pradesh administration traced 1,406 out of 1,423 persons who came to the state from Britain. Of these, a total of 12 people found to be corona positive. All of them tested with RTPRC. In addition, 6,364 primary contacts of 1,406 persons were investigated and 12 were found infected with the virus.

A total of 24 samples of these infected people sent to the Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). In this, a new strain of corona virus found in a woman who reached Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh from Delhi. The Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Department said that 23 reports are yet to be received from CCMB.
