Famed lyricist and Urdu poet Rahat Indori recently took to Twitter and shared that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Famed lyricist and Urdu poet Rahat Indori recently took to Twitter and shared that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. He shared that after experiencing some initial symptoms of Covid-19, he went for a test yesterday and the result has come positive.

He is currently admitted in Aurobindo Hospital. Concluding with a request, he further stated not to call him or his family members; updates on his health will be provided on his Facebook and Twitter.

Rahat Indori:

A couple of months back, the noted poet had composed a couplet spotlighting the plight of the times we are living in.

He asked his followers and fans to wish him a speedy recovery. And urged them to not call his family to enquire about his well-being. However, he said all updates about his health will be reported through Twitter and Facebook.

His son Stalaj Indori confirmed the reports of his father testing positive. In addition, said the condition of the veteran poet is stable.

Indori is a well-known Urdu poet. Also known to express his views on socio-political scenarios in the country.
